Every generation that sincerely believed in God and His promises, since Adam and Eve, have looked forward to the coming of the Saviour, the Lamb of God. They were not only looking forward to it, but they all expected The Saviour to come in their day, they all looked for Him. This is, according to scripture, a requirement for the faithful believers in God, looking for the sacrificed to come. All who have believed from the beginning of time to now, and to the very day of the second coming, God’s people have desired and will desire to, “… Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” John 1:29. Also note Hebrews Chapter 11.

When the Lamb, Jesus Christ, fulfilled the ministering, all the true faithful believe that the Lamb of God was Sacrificed, died and was risen up into Heaven, where He sat on the right hand of the throne of God. Note Hebrews 12:2.
“So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.” Hebrews 9:28.
Did you hear that? “… unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.” This verse applies to those who look for the coming Saviour in truth of His Word. By faith, from Adam, all the way to the Cross, (note Hebrews Chapter 11) and for those after the Cross, still by faith look for His appearing. We today, for all who are alive, to those who come after us and believe in truth of the Word of God, look forward to His appearing a second time. We all should be looking for the Second Coming of the sacrificed Lamb, Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.
“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2.
“For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:” Philippians 3:20.
“And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.” 1 Thessalonians 1:10.

“Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:8.
“Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.” Titus 2:13-14.
“Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, … ” 2 Peter 3:12.
“But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.” 2 Peter 3:8-13.
There are many things a believer must act upon in faith. With the looking forward to Christ appearing the second time. Yet, with that, all should come to repentance, and as we just read, what manner of persons ought we to be in all holy conversation and godliness. There is a change we all must go through. With prayer and time in the Word of God, the longing of His appearing shall come. The Holy Spirit that raised up Christ, shall also be in us, that burning within, is the Holy Spirit. Note Romans 8:11; Luke 24:32; Romans Chapter 8. Yet if we neglect Bible study and prayer, this longing will be pushed aside for the thing on this earth, for the things that will be dissolved at His appearing.

The Word of God is character building when in a relationship with God. So please continue in this relationship with God by opening up His Word with prayer, daily. God will show you great and mighty things that thou knowest not. Note Jeremiah 33:3. Beloved, believe God at His Word, trust with all faith that the Word of God is sure and true.
“My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine. My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction: For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.” Proverbs 3:1-12.
Keep looking for Jesus in the Word of God. Look up and keep longing for the coming of Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour, 🕊️🕊️🕊️ and remember “… unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.” Hebrews 9:28.
