Studying the Word of God, With Humility.
We ort to study the Scriptures in God’s will, as we are to study with humility, never use the scriptures to elevate ourselves. In Luke 18:10-14, Jesus tells of a parable of two men in prayer, illustrating the importance of humility in our walk with God. We will look at these verses to go deeper and see more gems within. The website “Open The Light Studies” aims to bring people closer to God through daily Bible studies. Those who study the Scriptures with a true heart will receive an inner transformation as they walk with God daily in His Word.
“Search”
The psalmist’s prayer in Psalms 139:23-24 asks God to search his heart for wickedness and lead him on the path of righteousness. Jeremiah 29:12 and 17:10 promise that God listens to the sincere heart and judges according to our ways. Searching and seeking God through the scriptures opens our hearts to God’s truth.
