The importance of being connected really means a lot to people, whether it is with family, friends, work colleagues. We can be connected face to face or via a phone call, internet, just for example.
When we are unable to be connected to the internet for a few days, or even just for a few hours, especially when there are many important things that need to be done, can set off emotions within. Yet the feeling of peace that comes when we can get back to doing the things we need to do when the internet comes back on. When the notification pops up in the right corner of the computer screen, that says, “Connected,” puts relief into the heart of emotions.

With the above in mind, I would like to turn to another thought, although they are connected. Faith in the Godhead bodily, Father, Son, Holy Spirit, is very important for eternal life. Yet many people fail to believe that the Godhead bodily cannot be everywhere at one time. They question, how can God, Jesus, or Holy Spirit be connected to every person alive or hear so many people’s prayers at one time.
There are some Bible verses that people stumble over, verses that stop people from hearing the truth, this is because they do not understand the deep things of God. It’s completely fine if we do not understand everything when we are first called by God, especially regarding the deep things of God. God has given His Word for us to learn when we come to Him. The deep things of God come in time and are revealed to all who are in a relationship with Him. Sadly, the enemy, Satan himself, does all he can to stop those who would be God’s people. In the Bible in John 6:52-66, such an incident happened in the presence of Jesus when He shared about the importance of eating His Flesh and drinking His blood. It reads as follows.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. I am that bread of life. Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat? Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever. These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum. Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it? When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you? What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before? It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him. And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father. From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. John 6:47-66.

Later, in the book of John, Jesus shared more deep things about Himself, and with the connection with the Godhead Bodily. Think of the fruit as the Fruit of the Holy Spirit which has no law against it. Note Galatians 5:22. As it reads in John, it says, “I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.” John 15:1-11.

We may not understand these verses to the fullest, yet we can still have faith in the Godhead bodily. The Godhead Bodily, which God Our Heavenly Father, Jesus the Son of God and our Saviour, and the Holy Spirit our Comforter, incorporates the whole of the Godhead Bodily. Faith that keeps us connected to the Godhead Bodily will only strengthen and grow as we spend time in the Word of God.
One thing I do not understand is, how does the internet work? How does all this information come to my computer via Wi-Fi, or even from my mobile phone, TV, radio, talking to people via air, and how does making a phone call with no landline actually work, never lone making a video call from the other side of the world from our mobile devices? I can guarantee, that most people, like me, do not fully understand how it all works. Yet most people do not stop using the internet simply because they do not understand how it works. The fact that it does work, and that we use the internet and mobile phones, gives us faith in that it can be reliable when it is up and running. Yet God is always there, and the more we spend time with The Godhead Bodily the more we experience God the Father, Son & Holy Spirit, working in our lives and our faith grows.

When we study God’s Word, we are eating the Body of Christ, His blood becomes connected to ours as we dine on His Word, therefore we drink His Blood. It is like those who become so dehydrated that they cannot put anything into their stomachs. These People need to be hydrated via intravenous (IV) drip. Fluids and nutrients are given directly into bloodstream via IV through a vein, allowing the fluids to be slowly infused into the bloodstream.
The unseen internet connection is the same as our connection with the Godhead Bodily. We cannot literally see the Godhead Bodily, yet we can see the effects of Their being, like creation and all that was created by Them. We can see the change in a person’s life when they truly have a relationship with The Godhead Bodily, and we can feel the deep workings on our heart, mind and soul. We feel the Godhead Bodily, their presence inwardly, which changes us from the inside out when we are spending time in the Word of God daily. These effects are life changing for our better. Even though the issues of life come and go, the Godhead Bodily are always there, carrying us through these difficulties, giving us peace within, although a storm is raging about us.
When God said, “Be ye holy; for I am holy,” 1 Peter 1:16. God is telling us and calling us to be connected to Him where Holiness is; for it is only through Christ Jesus we can be connected to God, filled with His Holy Spirit. When we are connected to Him through Christ, we are eating of Christ’s body and drinking His Blood. When we are connected to the vine, we are Holy. If we are not holy, and could be still connected to the vine, this would make Christ unholy, along with anyone connected to the vine. Therefore, Christ said, If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. It is Christ that does the purging, that we may grow new branches. Our bodies and veins are connected to Christ Body and veins. Even though we cannot see it, or understand it, it is true. Just as a branch that has been grafted onto the vine and grows, so are we to the body of Christ when we connected by faith, faith in action from the heart. We become connected when we pray and study His Word. By continuing to spend time with God daily and believing God at His Word, as the Scriptures hath said, Through Christ, we are “connected” to the Godhead Bodily. Faith without work is dead being alone. Study James Chapter 2.

Faith cometh by hearing, hearing the Word of God, therefore spend time daily in the Word. Call unto God in the name of Jesus; God will show us great and mighty things that we know not of. Trusting in the Word as the Scriptures hath said. Trusting that precept must upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line, here a little, and there a little, to come to the truth and knowledge of God. When we humble ourselves in the sight of the Lord, He shall lift us up. Note Romans 10:17; John 7:38; Jeremiah 33:3; Isaiah 28:9-16; James 4:10.
Therefore, believe and have faith in the Godhead Bodily and Stay “Connected.
Study 1 Peter 1:1-25, with prayer, asking for the guidance of the Holy Spirit through Christ and in Christ’s name.
Enjoy dining on the Word of God, which is Christ, and stay, “Connected.”

The next Post will be a study on the Godhead Bodily.
