❓ 🤔 💬
Most know that Jesus is our High Priest, for the Scriptures tells us, as it is written, “Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.” Hebrews 4:14. “…, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.” Hebrews 6:20.
Now, Melchisedec was a King and Priest. Just as Jesus is. “And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.” Genesis 14:18.
Just on a sidenote, A Gem indeed, did you notice that Melchisedec, King and Priest, brought forth bread and wine? This is exactly what Jesus did, Jesus was the bread and the wine, He brought forth Himself, as the bread and wine for us. Christ gave His Body – Bread and His Blood – Wine of the Pure Grape Juice without blemish, which we Spiritually partake in. We participate and share in the bread and wine of Christ Jesus when we accept Jesus as our Saviour. Jesus is the Great High Priest of the most high God.
The priests that did the service of the Sanctuary were the only ones, with the High Priest that could enter the Holy Place. To minister to God in the Priest’s office. Note Exodus 29:44b.
“Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.” Hebrews 9:6.

Yet, Did You Know❓ 🤔 💬
That the Scriptures teach us that the people of God are made Priests as well.
Note the following Gems.
For the Children of Israel before the testimony of the Sanctuary was given.
“Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.” Exodus 19:5-6.
For God’s People after the true Sacrifice of the testimony of the Sanctuary.
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.” 1Peter 2:9-10.
“And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” Revelation 1:6.
“And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.” Revelation 5:10.
“Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.” Revelation 20:6.
Just as, “… when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.” Hebrews 9:6. So, shall we serve God before we enter the Holy Place and after we enter the Holy Place.
Therefore, those that Enter into Heavenly Sanctuary as Priests with Christ, it is written, “And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.” Revelation 7:14-15.
Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. Revelation 14:12.
