“Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.” 1 John 2:24.
This verse is very important to hear what it is saying. It was written as part of a warning concerning the Antichrist from verse 18 to 27, in 1 John chapter 2, which is part of the whole of the message of chapter 2, which I ask you to read now.
From Chapter 2 of 1John … because ye have known him that is from the beginning… To know Him from the beginning, is the strength of our faith. Without the truth of the Beginning, everything within our faith falls apart. We must believe in a creator God, in creation itself, and believe in those of the Godhead bodily who created the creation with God, the Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. We read in John 1:1-3, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” John 1:1-3. The Word is Jesus Himself, note verse 14 “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” John 1:14. Jesus again is referred as the Word. “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.” 1John 5:7.
It is by Faith we must believe that there are seven days of creation, and each day something different was made. Everything that was made, was made perfect, and in perfect order. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. Hebrews 11:1-3. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6.
Note the following verses as a quick overview of creation, or you can simply read Genesis 1:1-31; 2:1-3.

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” Genesis 1:1-3. … “And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.” Genesis 1:7. … “And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.” Genesis 1:9 … “And the evening and the morning were the third day.” Genesis 1:13. … “And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:” Genesis 1:14. … “And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.” Genesis 1:20. … “And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. … And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it. … And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.” Genesis 1:24-31. … “Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.” Genesis 2:1-3.

In studying the scriptures, we learn the Father and the Son and Holy Spirit were working together creating the World. We learn that there were Six days that were created and made, and the Seventh day God rested, blessed, and sanctified it, which means, consecrated, dedicate, Holy, keep. Strong’s Concordance.
We also learn that the days start at even, as it says, “And the evening and the morning were the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th,… day.” Genesis 1:5, 8, 13, 19, 23, 31. Even is when the sun sets. We learn throughout scripture, “at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath.” Leviticus 23:32. And at even, when the sun did set, … Mark 1:32. We also learn that the days of the week were called, First day, Second day, Third day, Forth day, Fifth day, Sixth day, Seventh day.
“I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.” Ecclesiastes 3:14. “My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.” Psalms 89:34. “For I am the LORD, I change not; …” Malachi 3:6. With this Truth we can be assured that God set seven days in a week, and this seven-day weekly cycle, as it was from creation, is the same to this very day. The days do not run from midnight to mid night, nor did God change their names from First day, to Sunday; the Second day, to Monday; the Third day to Tuesday; Forth day to Wednesday; Fifth day to Thursday; Sixth day to Friday; Seventh day to Saturday. Yet the Sixth day was known as the Preparation day and the Seventh day in scripture was known as the Sabbath day. God did not change the Seventh day Sabbath, which He sanctified and made Holy, to the First day, Sunday, of the week. This breaks God’s perfect creation weekly pattern. Satan is the reason for the change, working upon the hearts of man that do not follow the Word of God.
We understand that by Satan, the beast “… he shall speak greatwords against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.” Daniel 7:25. For it is written, “For if Jesus had given them rest, (rest meaning, Sabbath, Strong’s Concordance) then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.” Hebrews 4:8-11. The seven day weekly cycle has slowly been changed over time. My first Google search came up as Monday as the first day of the week. The search result even said that Accordingly, Monday through to Sunday are indicated by numbers, 1 to 7. Confusion indeed. Satan has worked hard to deceive and confuse as many as he can. Time has always been one thing that Satan does not want us to be stead fast in. Yet it is the Truth that makes us free.

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. John 8:32

We also learn that God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:” … “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” Genesis 1:27. Therefore, there should be no confusion at all, … “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.” Genesis 2:24. “I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.” Ecclesiastes 3:14.
In Genesis chapter 3, sin comes into this Beautiful World God had made; this is because of the Antichrist, Satan himself. He is the one that goes about destroying the Word of God. And as we read in 1 John chapter 2, he, the antichrist is still telling his lies to distort the truth. Remember, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12. “Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;” Ephesians 6:13-18.
“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17. “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.” James 2:17. … “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” James 2:26. Ever trusting, as, “it is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” Matthew 4:4. From the beginning, to now, and in the truth of the things to come, live the works of faith. Remember that “… the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.” 1John 2:17.
When we take heed to The Truth “from the beginning” to now, and for that which is to come, and change it not; and believe in that truth by faith, “ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.” As it is written, “Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.” 1 John 2:24.
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Philippians 2:5.
